Day Trip: Cape May Food & Wine Festival

Where: Area restaurants and the Cape May Winery.

When: Through Thursday.

What: The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts, in conjunction with Cape May's restaurant community, presents five Chefs' Dine-Arounds, three gourmet luncheons, winery tours and tastings, seminars and classes. The Cape May Harvest Food & Wine Tasting will take place at the Carriage House Tearoom & Cafe, 1048 Washington St., and the Gourmet Marketplace and People's Choice Chowder Contest will be held at the Cape May Winery, 711 Town Bank Road.

How much: $25-$84. Cost varies by event.
